Balance of the People

Elections are often reflections and balance of the people. The masses have chosen and we can either decide what we are for and broadcast that... or rail against what you don't want. The presidency does not create your individual reality. You have all the power in that. Don't give your power over to the results of something you can't control. This doesn't mean inaction - it just means you will know what to do at the perfect time. Movements will happen towards good and changes will be made. This is the evolution of life. Contrast is necessary for us to decide and know what it is we even want. Nothing is at a standstill and everything changes constantly. Stay centered in yourself, keep believing and know that you are free. Friday will certainly be a very weird day and that too shall pass.

Cozy Comforts

It feels like it's snowing across the entire United States right now. We rarely get snow but this year we've had a couple of inches. Tonight has a big puff of snow we haven't seen yet. When Portland gets snowy, sometimes it's icy, and sometimes it's too much snow for the city to handle so it basically shuts down. The city gets quiet and not so busy on the streets - much like it used to be about a decade ago. I enjoy the stillness and spending time at home, getting cozy. It's in these moments, I take time to be appreciative of a roof over our head, warm foods, heat, electricity and good company. I hope you all are staying warm and cozy wherever you are.

2017 - The Year of The Rooster

Happy New Year! We've exited last years shenanigans of the year of the monkey and according to Chinese astrology, we have entered a time of being alert - there won't be an opportunity to be missed because Rooster will give you quick energy to stay attentive. Things will be happening quickly this year, if there are setbacks, you will move through them quickly. Roosters are a symbol of health and represent activeness. Loyalty and punctuality are also strong suits of the rooster. Be careful of energies (within yourself & outside) of being too pushy and stepping on others to make yourself feel better. Rooster energy begins on January 28th and ends on February 15th 2018.
Things will be happening quickly and in a big way so stay active to lower stress, keep organized and fasten your seat belt!

Warm Wishes

I just wanted to send everyone warm wishes for this holiday season! I will be taking a couple of weeks off from writing this blog but will resume again in the first week of 2017. If you want to check my instagram in the meantime, I will certainly be active there. I'm sure most of us in the northern hemisphere are already feeling the cold. Next Wednesday, December 21st, is the time we officially enter into the Winter Solstice. So cuddle up, drink and eat warm foods and enjoy this wintery time of year.
